Description
Packaging Concept
Quad seal dog food packaging combines a structured side-gusset body with a reclosable zipper for dry pet food. Front, back and side panels can separate brand, recipe, ingredient and feeding information. Each project begins with the real kibble, desired pack weight, packing equipment and distribution route.
Structure and Use
- Four vertical seals shape the pouch profile
- Side gussets provide capacity and printable area
- The top zipper supports portioned dispensing
- Seal geometry is coordinated with filling equipment
- Film gauge follows particle and storage testing
- Recipe and size ranges can share one design system
Configuration Choices
- Capacity, width, height and gusset depth
- Laminate structure, thickness and seal layer
- Zipper placement and top heat-seal allowance
- Brand artwork, barcodes and QR codes
- Surface appearance based on approved graphics
- Sample checks for filling, sealing and handling
Suitable Products
The format can be developed for complete dog food, kibble, baked diets, freeze-dried pieces and dry treats. Particle hardness, sharp edges, oils and storage period influence the final structure.
Development Process
- Collect food, weight and equipment details
- Define pouch proportions and material trial plan
- Review zipper, seals and printed panels
- Test filling, closure, drops and case packing
- Approve the sample before manufacturing
Start a Custom Project
Provide product details, particle size, fill weight, equipment, storage requirements, artwork and forecast. PURESTPACK will use them to discuss pouch geometry, materials, zipper, printing and samples.
Testing and Production
Dimensions, films, gauge, zipper, print, finish and quantity affect price and minimums. The visible zipper can be incorporated into a confirmed specification, but final performance must be demonstrated through product, seal, transport and storage testing.
All custom lickable cat treat packaging is made to order. Size, pouch structure, material, printing, tear-open features and surface finish can be customized. Pricing and minimum order quantity depend on pouch specifications, materials, printing requirements, functional features and order volume. Final packaging performance should be tested with the actual product formula, filling process, storage conditions and distribution requirements.
