Fin Seal Features

Strong Center Back Seal

The single vertical seal running down the center back creates a wide, strong seal area that helps prevent leaks and burst failures during filling, transport and handling. This is especially valuable for dry powders, grains and small-particulate products.

Tear-Notch Opening

A pre-cut tear notch can be added to the top seal, allowing consumers to open the pouch cleanly without scissors. For products used over multiple servings, a reclosable zipper can also be integrated into the top seal.

Efficient Filling & Sealing

The center seal pouch runs efficiently on vertical form-fill-seal machines, with the back seal formed before the top and bottom seals. This design supports high-speed production while maintaining consistent pouch shape and seal quality.

Lightweight And Portable

Center seal pouches are lightweight and can be stored flat before filling, reducing storage space and transport costs compared with rigid containers. Once filled, the slim profile makes them easy to stack, pack and display.

Generous Print Area

The flat front and back panels provide a large printable surface for brand graphics, product information, barcodes and usage instructions. This supports clear shelf presentation and recognizable branding.
